SUBMISSIONS FOR THE MAKE-UP ARTISTS AND HAIR STYLISTS

GUILD AWARDS OPEN ONLINE TODAY, OCTOBER 15

 

Nominees will be announced on Thursday, January 10, 2019;

Awards Gala to be held Saturday, February 16, 2019 at the NOVO in L.A. Live

 

LOS ANGELES, Oct. 15, 2018– Online submissions for consideration for the Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild Awards(MUAHS, IATSE Local 706) honoring outstanding achievements for make-up artists and hair stylists in motion pictures, television, commercials, and live theater are now open, it was announced today by IATSE Local 706 President Sue Cabral-Ebert. Submissions and voting will be made online at http://members.local706.org/awards/ Submissions will close on Wednesday, November 14, 2018 at 5 PM (PT). This year’s awards gala returns to the NOVO in L.A. Live on Saturday, February 16, 2019.

 

The Make-Up Artists and Hair Stylists Guild (MUAHS) members will vote to determine the nominations. Online voting will begin for Lifetime Achievement and Distinguished Artisan Awards on October 18, 2017 and recipients will be announced later in the year.
