Peter Kukla
 Hair Stylist Journeyman

Peter Kukla joined Local 706 November 12, 1997. He was a talented hair stylist, who had worked for 20 years prior in his homeland of Germany. He got his qualifying days on a show called "Archibald the Rainbow Painter". Peter achieved his journeyman status with Local 706 in August of 1998.

Prior to joining Local 706, his work centered around print, runway shows, commercials and music videos predominantly in Europe. His European training was with the State Opera in Hamburg in Wig Making and Period Hairstyling. Peter had a Masters degree from Hamburg State College of Fine Art, Germany and his Bachelors degree from Schweinfurt, Germany. Peter has an identical twin brother still in Germany.

Many of the shows that Peter worked on through the years were "Freaks & Geeks", Dharma & Greg, Pacific Blue, "Planet of the Apes", & "West Wing". One of the last films that he worked on was "Palm Springs" in 2020.
