Local 706 Members:

Our California Governor Gavin Newsom and Eric Garcetti  our Los Angeles Mayor are encouraging the postponement of large gatherings.  State laws grant broad authority to local and state officials in times of a health or safety crisis, and Local 706 Make Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild support the decisions of our state and local governments.     

Based on that,  Local 706 is cancelling all upcoming 706 Education Classes and craft meetings.   If you are one of the chosen attendees for the 706 education classes occurring this weekend, you will not lose your place unless YOUR availability changes.  We will advise when we have rescheduled the classes. 

Local 706 wishes to encourage all of our members to endorse and support the requests of our Governor and Mayor, to only attend those ESSENTIAL meetings and postpone non essential travel and business meetings.
