Dear Sisters, Brothers, Kin,

We want to express our heartfelt gratitude for your generous donations of goods, money, and time. Your outreach is truly making a difference to those who have suffered loss, and we are so grateful for the outpouring of kindness.

At this time, the Locals are in the process of sorting through the donated items and distributing them to those in need. In order to ensure that we can manage everything efficiently and effectively, we are kindly asking for a temporary pause on further donations of goods, other than monetary and merchandise voucher donations, to our in-person donation centers. This will allow us the time we need to organize and distribute the current items and assess which items are most needed for future donations.

We expect to be ready to accept donations of goods again on Thursday, January 16, and we would love for you to continue supporting our efforts once we resume. As we identify those items of most critical need, we will continue to update our membership. Please keep an eye on communications in the coming days.

As a reminder, we are still accepting volunteer signups and online donations. We expect to mobilize several more volunteers in the days and weeks ahead as our distribution process begins.
