Evelyn Fine Rozenfeld passed on May 6, just 3 weeks after her birthday.  If you knew Evelyn, you know she’d hate for us to post her age, so we’ll respect her wishes.  Evelyn began her career in the 60’s under the tutelage of Gene Shacove (inspiration for Warren Beatty’s character in ‘Shampoo’) and after raising three children and operating two salons of her own, came into membership in 1989. She took an honorable withdrawal last year, ending a 32 year career begun later in life.  She provided her hairstyling skills on dozens of productions including American Dreams, Dirty Sexy Money, Once and Again, The Majestic, True Blood, Fresh off the Boat and Tracey Takes On…  (Tracey Ullman asked Evelyn to perform in a cameo on her show, making a disgusted face at her ‘Linda Granger’ character. Evelyn also had a role on the TV series ‘Huge’).  Evelyn was an accomplished artist, sculptor and mother; she is survived by sons Aaron and Kim; her daughter Sydni and older sister Luba Fine preceded her.  In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made in Evelyn’s name to the Environmental Working Group (EWG) at this link:  https://tinyurl.com/yj862dnx
