We have lost our beloved sister, Essie Cha, Make Up Artist. She passed away in her home over the weekend on March 24, 2024, peacefully in her sleep.
She had been living in Atlanta, Georgia for several years, while still maintaining her membership in 706. She had moved to Atlanta around June 2011. Just to try it out not thinking that she would stay but ended up purchasing her home there and slowly moving her extended family there.
She had been Department Heading many projects from the moment she moved to Atlanta. Some of her favorite projects were "Candy" "Making Change" and "Powers."
Essie was a very generous, kind, and thoughtful person, always willing to help anyone out. She leaves behind her mother, Sungji Cha, her siblings, sisters Margaux Waki , Suzay Cha and brother Paul Cha, along with her nieces and nephews.
