Sister Dorothy Fox, a talented hairstylist, passed away peacefully October 13, 2024. She is survived by her daughter.

Sister Fox's career in the entertainment industry spanned decades, beginning with a 14-year tenure as a respected cosmetology teacher. She then honed her skills working in various studios before joining Local 706 in September 1978. Throughout the 1980s, Sister Fox's artistry graced the sets of iconic television shows like "Remington Steele" and "Charlie's Angels." Her talent continued to shine in the 1990s, contributing to notable projects such as "Doogie Howser, M.D.," "Hook," "G.I. Jane," and "Wyatt Earp." A testament to her skill, Sister Fox earned an Emmy nomination for "Hairstyling for a Miniseries or Special" for her outstanding work as "Key Hairstylist" (now Department Head) on "Buffalo Girls." Sister Fox took an honorable withdrawal from Local 706 in May 1997 but later reinstated as an active retiree in May 2001. She subsequently took another honorable withdrawal in 2003.

Sister Fox's legacy will be remembered through her contributions to the entertainment industry.
