Journeyman Make-up Artists Leslie Devlin and Bob Romero will be teaching "Facial Hair Application" to our Roster Make-up Artists on Sat & Sun, Dec 16 & 17, 9am – 5pm. Leslie started teaching for the Local last year, and her classes have been very well received and appreciated. She joined the local in 1999 and became a Journeyman in 2002. Her talents of working with facial hair and lace beard work have been validated over and over again by her work on big budget films such as the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise and many other productions in both Television and Motion Pictures. Pre 706, Leslie was trained in the Wig and Make-up program at the San Francisco Opera, and worked with many wig makers and theatre companies in both San Francisco and Los Angeles. Bob is a seasoned artisan who virtually has ate, slept and lived doing facial hair work most of his career as a Journeyman Make-up Artist. I have said in the past lightheartedly, he probably could lay or ventilate a full beard in his sleep. He has been an Officer of the Local on the Board of Trustees for over a decade and has always been a loyal advocate for both Make-up and Hair; Leslie and Bob make a great team for this class, and I know that you will enjoy their knowledge and expertise.
